The Prototron Financing is now open for applications to provide a prototyping fund that gives equity-free money to teams to turn their great ideas into the first working prototype.
Prototron organizes two application rounds per year. From the approximately 300 applications received per round, TOP40 teams will be chosen to participate in the Prototron Programme During the Prototron Programme, the teams will participate in different know-how training and complete tasks to advance to the TOP10 teams, which will compete for funding.
Prototron was founded in 2012 by Swedbank, Tallinn Technical University and Tehnopol Science and Business Park. Since then, they have had 30 rounds, and they’ve funded 102 ideas.
Funding Information
- They invest up to 35,000€ equity-free money per idea, 75,000€ per one round.

- Looking for companies:
- In Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Smart Grid, Technology Development, Green Technology, Mobile Technology, Cleantech, Smart Home, Building Technology, Mobility, AI Deployment.
- Located in Europe.
- Incorporated or not.
- Idea stage.
- Angel or Pre-seed.
- Up to €10k in funding.
- Currently raising or not raising funds.
- Have revenue or not.
