Deadline: 14-Mar-22
The Bureau of International Narcotics-Law Enforcement (INL) is currently accepting applications for the Anticorruption Policy and Research Outreach and Engagement Program.
Goals
- The community of stakeholders engaged in international anticorruption policy and programs are better informed about the corruption and potential ways to combat it.
- A broader range of experts have access and inputs to policy issues and the implementation of foreign assistance programming.
- U.S. policy stakeholders and the public are more informed of the USG efforts to address corruption internationally.
Objectives
- To share best practices among Anticorruption Policy and Practitioner Stakeholders.
- Organize and hold a series of four to six (in-person and virtual) roundtables of approximately 15-25 participants to bring together relevant and diverse experts and stakeholders from the Washington, DC and international communities. Roundtables may be either closed-door or off the record, or open to the public.
- Produce five reports or policy briefs on strengthening U.S. international anticorruption efforts. Reports or policy briefs should be data driven and leverage information from a diverse range of sources. They should also provide technical recommendations on foreign policy, diplomatic advocacy, and program design, monitoring, and evaluation related to anticorruption. (The reports or policy briefs may, but need not be, derived from the roundtables.)
- Develop an outreach campaign that complements the findings and/or recommendations from the roundtables and reports, leveraging outreach and social media. This could include leveraging outreach and social media through two to four 15-30 minute podcasts related to the themes. During the podcasts, guests could speak about findings and/or recommendations from the roundtables and commissioned reports.
