USAID is calling for concept notes for Communities REsilient to DIsinformation Building Local Engagement (CREDIBLE) Youth Power 2 Program.

Through the Communities Resilient to Disinformation Building Local Engagement (CREDIBLE) addendum to the YouthPower 2 (YP2) Annual Program Statement (APS) No. 7200AA20APS00007, the Bureau of Latin America and the Caribbean, Office of Regional Sustainable Development, Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance Team (LAC/RSD/DRG) seeks to increase digital and media literacy among youth and other target populations, and rebuild the relationship between youth and local communities with local media to strengthen civic culture and inform political processes.

The purpose of CREDIBLE is to increase digital and media literacy among youth and other target populations, and rebuild the relationship between youth and their local communities with local media to strengthen civic culture, inform political processes, and build resiliences against disinformation and misinformation.

The activity will seek to build resiliencies and reduce vulnerability to disinformation through two results:

Eligibility Criteria

USAID encourages submission of Concept Note(s) from all potential partners which may include U.S. and non-U.S based public, private, for-profit, and non-profit organizations, as well as institutions of higher education (including minority-serving institutions), public international organizations, and non-governmental organizations. The organization/entity must be a legally recognized organizational entity in the country where it operates.
