USAID launches PROPEL Adapt (Round 2) Program

The U.S. Agency for International Development’s Office of Population and Reproductive Health (PRH) is pleased to announce the Round 2 of Promoting Results and Outcomes through Policy and Economic Levers (PROPEL) Annual Program Statement (APS).

This program focuses on strengthening the enabling environment for family planning and reproductive health (FP/RH) and FP/RH integration with HIV/AIDS and maternal and child health (MCH) in the context of shocks and stressors and in fragile settings.

It seeks to strengthen the enabling environment in the context of shocks, stressors, and fragile settings for more equitable and sustainable health services, supplies, and delivery systems through policy development and implementation; adequate, predictable and sustainable financing; enhanced government stewardship, transparency, and accountability; and the use of evidence-based advocacy approaches to promote best practices.

PROPEL Adapt, Round 2, will include: an elevated and significant focus on integration of voluntary FP/RH with HIV/AIDS and MCH; gender equity and equality; digital health technology; capacity development and building local partnerships; sustainability; collaborating, learning and adapting, knowledge management ; and diversity, equity and inclusion.
