Variety – the Children’s Charity is inviting applications for the Community and Schools Grant Program to promote all access, inclusivity and wellbeing in the community for children aged under 18 years old from financial disadvantage, geographic isolation and/or living with a disability or chronic illness.
Funding Information
Variety usually grants up to $10,000 for Community Grants.
Example of Grant Requests
The Applicant can apply for one or more items as part of their Variety Community Grant request. The items must directly benefit children as per the eligibility criteria
The following are examples only.
- Equipment
- Supplies
- Technology
- Programs
Eligibility Criteria
- School or Organisation must be based and operating in Tasmania.
- Organisation must be not-for-profit registered in Tasmania.

School or Organisation must directly service children aged under 18 years old in one or more of the following areas:
- Children living with a disability
- Children living under financial hardship
- Children living with chronic illness
- Children living in remote/rural areas
Previous recipients will not be considered for another Community Grant until 12 months after the date listed on their Outcome Letter.
