Women’s Fund in Georgia has announced a grant competition for “Overcoming Empty Forms of Violence Against Women in the Regions of Georgia” whose financial support is supported by the British Foundation, Sigrid Rozing Trastu.

The grant competition is designed to working in the regions of women’s non-governmental organizations in an effort to encourage, to promote gender -based violence covered forms of legal and preventive issues before raising, advocacy and lobbying. The foundation is supported by the initiatives, which are based on the principle of women against violence covered forms discloser and their struggle, the issue of political ideology and patriarchal attitudes change.

The grant amount is defined as 4500 pounds sterling. The duration of the projects is from 6 to 8 months.
