The Youth Arts Fund: Bursary Programme is now open to provide funding to organisations to host up to 5 bursaries for early career artists and creative practitioners aged between 18 and 24, who have a lack of accessible support to develop their creative careers, to create new or develop existing work.

The host organisations will support the artists and creative practitioners to build contacts, create and present ambitious work, build experience, identify ongoing opportunities and plan for next steps beyond the bursary.

Organisations can apply for funding to offer bursaries to these artists, to help them develop and produce work.

Eligibility Criteria

The fund is open to organisations based in Scotland whose work involves the arts, screen and creative industries. This can include Creative Scotland Regularly Funded Organisations as well as third sector organisations who can demonstrate their capacity to deliver a supported bursary programme for early-career artists and creative practitioners aged between 18 and 24.
