Youth Engagement Funding Initiative (Canada)

Deadline: 13-Jan-23

The Conservation Corps Newfoundland and Labrador (CCNL) is pleased to announce the launch of the Youth Engagement Funding Initiative (YEFI) Program to provide seed funding/support to youth (up to and including age 30) in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador who wish to pursue endeavors relating to climate change.

Conservation Corps Newfoundland and Labrador (CCNL) climate education programming is supported by environment and climate change Canada, environment and climate change Newfoundland and Labrador, the climate change education Centre, and youth action.

Funding Information

Youth may apply for monies, up to a maximum of $1,000, to further enhance existing initiatives or to begin development of a new project. These initiatives may be research, experimental, or action based.

Project Examples

The following are examples of successful YEFI projects from previous years. Feel free to adapt these ideas for your group or classroom; however the Climate Change Education Centre encourages new and creative idea submissions as well. Please note that it is important to identify how these projects will contribute to overall greenhouse gas reduction at your school or organization.
