2021 Right Livelihood Award: Win 1M Swedish Krona in Cash Prizes

Small Grants 2022 Call for Proposals for Sustainable Livelihoods Projects in Zimbabwe

Deadline: 3-Mar-21

The Right Livelihood Award Foundation receives nominations from all around the world for its 2021 Right Livelihood Award. Through this open process, the Foundation acquires a sense of what people around the world perceive as the most urgent problems – and who is working to solve them.

The Right Livelihood Award was established in 1980 to “honour and support courageous people solving global problems”. It has become widely known as the ‘Alternative Nobel Prize’ and there are now 182 Laureates from 72 countries.

Normally, the Foundation makes three Cash awards and one Honorary Award each year. The cash awards are intended for work in progress or the extension of existing activities; they are never given for personal use.
