The Merck Foundation together with its partners (The First Ladies of Africa and Journalist societies and Associations) announce the calls for applications for the ‘STAY AT HOME’ Media Recognition Awards.
Most creative and influential media work aiming to raise awareness and sensitising communities about this alarming topic at a regular basis will be eligible to win these awards.
Theme: Raising awareness about Coronavirus and sensitize communities how to stay safe and keep Healthy physical and Mentally during coronavirus lockdown or restricted movement.

Special awards will be selected for young emerging talents who are able to show outstanding potential through their submissions on regular basis.

Eligibility Criteria
Journalists from print, online, radio and multimedia platforms from English speaking African countries.
Winners will be notified personally via email, followed by a press release for public announcement and on the Merck Foundation and partners website and social media channels by the end of July 2020.
