European Union: Strengthening Democracy through Electoral Reform

The European Union (EU) is currently accepting proposals from eligible organizations for a programme entitled “Strengthening Democracy through Electoral Reform”  with an aim to enable civil society to contribute to the Strengthening Democracy through Electoral Reform process including through domestic election observation, provision of legal aid to citizens to defend their electoral rights, and civic and voter education.

Size of Grants

Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between EUR 600 000 and EUR 1017 000.

Location

Actions must take place in The Kyrgyz Republic.

Duration

The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 24 months nor exceed 30 months.

Eligible Countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the UK.
