#image_title

Deadline: 30-Nov-2025

The Visiting Fellowship Scheme offers statelessness researchers, practitioners, and educators a chance to engage with the Peter McMullin Centre on Statelessness and build international collaborations. Visiting Fellows receive workspace, library access, and computer facilities. They are expected to actively participate in the Centre’s activities, including events and workshops during their stay.

Funding of up to AUD 6,000 is available to cover travel and accommodation costs in Melbourne. The fellowship can be taken up between July and November 2026. The Centre welcomes applications from a wide range of candidates, including postdoctoral early-career researchers, tenured academics, and non-academic professionals with applied research projects relevant to the Centre’s work. Researchers with lived experience of statelessness are strongly encouraged to apply.

Applicants must submit one PDF document containing a CV and list of publications, a research plan (maximum 1000 words) detailing their research, proposed activities, and contributions to the Centre, proposed visit dates, and one letter of reference or a letter of support from an employer or professional association for non-academic applicants.
