- Recognition for significant contributions to science communication
Appreciation Award:
- Cash prize: Rs. 50,000

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be citizens of Sri Lanka
- Be individual applicants only (no institutional applications)
- Demonstrate significant contributions to science popularization
- Have completed eligible work between 1 January 2023 and 31 December 2025
Eligible work includes:

Ineligibility Criteria
The following are not eligible:
- Staff members of the National Science Foundation
