Course on Essential Services Package for Women and Girls Subject to Violence

The World Childhood Foundation is inviting applications for its grant program to inspire, promote and develop solutions to end sexual abuse and exploitation against children.

Deadline: Ongoing Opportunity

Submissions are now open for the course to provide an overview of the Essential Services Package for Women and Girls Subject to Violence: Core Elements and Quality Guidelines launched in 2015 by UN Women, UNFPA, WHO, UNDP and UNODC.

These Guidelines identify comprehensive essential actions to be provided by the health, justice and policing and social services sectors, as well as guidance for the coordination of essential services, for women and girls who have experienced violence. The Guidelines are a practical tool which aim to support countries as they work to design, implement and review existing services for women and girls who are survivors of violence, in a wide range of settings.
