The Centers for Civil Initiatives (CCI) is inviting civil society organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina to submit project proposals in the field of combating corruption in health care.
The Cure Health Small Grants Program is funded by the European Union and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
Funding Information
- The total amount of funds available under this call is EUR 25,000. It is planned to award 5 grants to civil society organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the amount of up to 5,000 euros.
- Duration: Projects must not last longer than 12 months and must be completed by the end of 08 at the latest in 2021.
Place of Project Implementation
The project must be implemented in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the activities are planned to be localor regional level.
Project proposals may include watch dog activities, public campaigns in the field of prevention and prevention of corruption in health care, as well as the investigation of cases of corruption in health care institutions.
Eligible Activities
Project proposals are envisaged in the following indicative areas, with the involvement of citizens and public in the planned project approach:
- Monitoring the performance of health care institutions in identifying and dealing with corruption risks and practices,
- Monitoring the implementation of key internal acts of health care institutions (such as budgets, work plans, regulations for prevention and fight against corruption, plans integrity).
- Advocacy initiatives to improve local health policies and procedures institution,
- Engaging representatives of professional associations and interested citizens in solving problems of corruption in local health care institutions,
- Reporting on practices and cases of corruption during and after the virus epidemic Covid 19
Project proposals may include the following activities:
- Support to civic groups in local communities in solving specific problems linked to corruption in health care;
- Watch dog activities in the field of prevention and prevention of corruption in health care,
- Public campaigns to raise citizens’ awareness of the importance of the fight against corruption and for encouraging the reporting of cases of corruption in health care,
- Monitoring the manner and quality of health care services with a focus on monitoring transparency of procedures, achieving integrity and prevention of corruption,
- Assessment of susceptibility to corruption in health care, with an emphasis on various forms of violations principles of transparency and accountability in work,
- Investigation of corruption cases in health care institutions
Eligibility Criteria
- Only domestic BHs can apply for this call. non-governmental organizations, associations or foundations (registered in accordance with the applicable laws on associations and foundations in BiH).
- Individuals (individuals), political parties, international and foreign organizations, government institutions and religious communities are not eligible to participate in this public call.
