Nominations are now open for the Cavinkare-MMA Chinnikrishnan Innovation Awards to identify and showcase innovative organizations, which have introduced breakthrough changes and can become role models for other Indians.
The upcoming 14th edition of this prestigious event will pay tribute to entrepreneurs who exemplify the visionary, innovative, and ideation-driven qualities. These awards acknowledge pioneering entrepreneurs based on the originality of their innovations, their positive impact on society, their potential for scalability and sustainability.
Award Information
- Cash award of Rs.1 lakh will be presented to each innovator selected for the award. In addition, recognition at the national level, support and guidance from India’s leading industrialists will be facilitated.
- CKPL and MMA will offer to mentor on marketing, finance, designing, packaging, R&D and HR besides the following:
- One-year direct access to the top talent available in the industry.
- Support for IP acquisition.
- Facilitate business links with banks & financial institutions.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Nominee should be a citizen of India.
- The registered office of the company, firm or individual should be in India. Only start-ups and small-scale enterprises with an annual turnover not exceeding Rs.50 crore for the year 2023-24 will be eligible.
- This is an application process-based award. Aspirants must submit the nomination form online.
- Nominees must provide a brief write-up in their application form in not more than 300 words on – ”How your business is innovative/different”.
Selection Criteria
- Stage 1: Short-listing the nominees
- A Jury Panel comprising experts from business, industry and academic institutions will select a shortlist after evaluating the data furnished by the nominees. Nominees may be invited for an online interactive session with the Jury.
- Stage 2: Videographing the shortlisted nominees and their innovation
- The nominees shortlisted by the preliminary Jury will be contacted for recording a short video of the innovation submission prior to the Final Jury Meet.
- Stage 3: Interaction with the nominees
- Nominees may be invited for an online interactive session with the Jury to clarify aspects that they may seek.
- Stage 4: Choosing the finalists.
- The winners will be chosen by the Jury, which will consist of leaders from industry and venture capitalists.

- There are six sections in the application form. Completing the application process will take not more than five minutes.
- Upon receipt of the application and supporting documents, a confirmation email / SMS will be sent to the applicant for compliance by The ChinniKrishnan Innovation Award Executive Committee (CKIAEC).
