SilverChef is offering a meaningful opportunity for community groups that use foodservice and hospitality to uplift others.
Each quarter, the company awards four $5,000 grants to organizations across the globe that are making a difference through meals, training, and other community-focused initiatives.
These grants are specifically aimed at registered charities and not-for-profits that have been operating for at least 12 months and have limited access to funding from other sources. To be eligible, applicants must demonstrate a clear and specific need for commercial kitchen equipment that will enhance their operations and ability to serve their communities.
Each grant consists of a $3,750 credit toward SilverChef’s Certified Used equipment, with the remaining $1,250 available either in cash or to be used toward additional equipment or freight costs. This structure is designed to ensure that recipients receive practical, tangible support that can have an immediate impact on their service delivery.
Applications are competitive and reviewed thoroughly each round. Due to the high volume of interest, SilverChef does not notify unsuccessful applicants. However, successful applicants are contacted within one month of the application round closing. Once notified, recipients must redeem their grant within six months.
If an organization previously received a SilverChef grant, they are welcome to apply again, provided at least 12 months have passed since the last award. Participation in the program is ultimately at the sole discretion of SilverChef, even if all eligibility criteria are met. The company reserves the right to verify all applications and withdraw support in cases of misconduct or if the recipient ceases to meet eligibility requirements.
This grant program offers more than just financial aid—it empowers community-focused organizations to expand their impact through improved kitchen facilities. For groups doing vital work through food and hospitality, this could be a valuable step toward growing their mission.
