Deadline: 17-Oct-2025
The National Foundation for India has launched the Subramaniam Awards to honour mid-career community leaders and voluntary sector workers who have dedicated over a decade to grassroots change.
The Awards celebrate those building local leadership, nurturing future changemakers, and promoting constitutional values across India. The award carries a prize amount of ₹1,00,000 along with a memento. NFI strongly encourages applications from women, Dalit, Adivasi, Minority, NT-DNT, persons with disabilities, and LGBTQIA+ leaders who have played key roles in grassroots change.
The process of selection is designed to be rigorous and inclusive, beginning with screening, followed by shortlisting, and final jury evaluation. The award not only celebrates achievements but also provides a platform for ongoing leadership development and access to a wider community of changemakers.
Interested applicants must complete the C.S. Award Application Form and submit it along with supporting documents by the 17th of October 2025. Submissions include a write-up about the applicant’s grassroots journey, a one-page note on proposed work with award support, a nomination letter, two references, and a resume with photo. Incomplete submissions will not be considered, making it essential for applicants to ensure all documents are properly submitted before the deadline.
