Deadline: 31-Aug-20
The Moniker’s High Country Region Grants Committee is seeking applications for its Competitive Grants Program.
Through this program, they seek funding requests from organizations that fit within Moniker’s overarching mission – providing resources for education and well-being to Colorado communities. More specifically though, the board currently focuses on the following four focus area categories for funding:
- Education – to support individuals that want to pursue a life of passion, purpose, and fulfillment, and to encourage a lifelong desire for learning and discovery
- Health & Human Services – to enhance, through prevention and remediation, the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities
- Arts & Culture – to inspire and cultivate individual, group, and community expression
- Environment – to connect individuals to the outdoors and to promote the value of sustainability to ensure that future generations have a healthy and habitable natural world
Funding Information
- The Foundation is awarding five, $8,000 grants, and two, $4,500 grants.
- At least one organization from each focus area will receive a $8,000 grant. The remaining one, $8,000 grant and two, $4,500 grants will be awarded based on merit, need and perceived impact. The remaining $1,000 will be split between the final five nonprofits selected to present at Pitch Day.
- Thus, each organization selected to present on Pitch Day is guaranteed a minimum of $200. If Pitch Day must be cancelled due to COVID-19 precautions, they will reevaluate how to split the additional $1,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Competitive Grants Program is a general grant-making conduit that solicits online grant applications from 501 (c)(3) organizations that operate within the three priority regions.
