Empowering Women and Families is the mission of the Erie Women’s Fund, a donor advised fund of the Erie Community Foundation. EWF is addressing this mission by issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP).
The mission of the Erie Community Foundation is to improve the quality of life for all in the region by evaluating and addressing community issues, by building permanent charitable endowments and by promoting philanthropic and community leadership.
The mission of The Erie Women’s Fund (“EWF”) is “Empowering Women and Families. EWF educates and inspires its members to positively impact the lives of Erie County women through philanthropy and community engagement.
Focus Areas
The foundation is seeking proposals for projects that address the varied community gaps in the following areas:
- Transportation
- Health
- Workforce Training/Education
- Housing
- Child Care
- Food
- Healthcare
Funding Information
- Multiple grants of $5,000 each will be awarded.
- EWF has committed up to $15,000 at this time.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible Organizations: Applications may be submitted by any Erie County 501(c)3 organization.
- Ineligible Organizations: For-profit, sectarian religious activities, fund-raising solely or hospitality projects.
