Overview
The German-British Program of the George Weidenfeld Journalism Fellowship provides young journalists with firsthand exposure to politics, economics, culture, and everyday life in a host country. Participants work in a foreign newsroom while continuing to report for their home media outlets, gaining practical experience and intercultural insight.
Program Structure

Introductory Conference: October 7–9, 2026

Work Placement: Eight-week stay at a British or German media outlet, selected in consultation with fellows

Reporting Requirements: Submission of journalistic work and a minimum three-page report detailing experiences
