The Caribbean Vulnerable Communities Coalition (CVC), through funding made possible by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculous and Malaria (GFTATM) is pleased to announce the campaign: “Protect Our People!”
This POP campaign aims to bring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to community outreach workers, peer education teams and other frontline staff, so that they can continue do their vital HIV prevention work with Key Populations during these harrowing times of COVID-19, keeping themselves and others safe.
Funding Information
- A maximum of US$500 dollars per organisation is available to purchase PPPS for a three-month period.
Eligibility Criteria
- Community Organisations from Jamaica, Suriname, Belize, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, and Antigua and Barbuda are invited to send them a list of their PPE needs for the next 3 months and provide quotations from suppliers.
- Organisations interested in receiving an award should send:
- A costed budget of the PPE equipment requested by the organization listing each of the suppliers to be used, for an amount of US$500 or less.
- At least three Quotations from a local supplier(s) to provide each item(s). If multiple suppliers are being used, then separate quotations/invoices for each of the suppliers must be sent. HOWEVER, the total amount of these suppliers must not exceed US$500. Permissible items include disposable gloves, masks, hand sanitizer, protective eye gear, hands-free body thermometer, and hand sanitizer dispensers.
