The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation is now accepting nominations for the 2017 Healthy10 Awards with an aim to honor ten outstanding, innovative partnerships/initiatives involving cross-sector collaborations between local businesses and traditional and non-traditional partners to improve community wellness through greater economic opportunity.
These awards also honor innovative businesses that are supporting the health of their consumers and communities within their core business models and missions.
The Health Means Business’s ‘Healthy10 Awards’ were created by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
The Healthy10 Awards will be presented during the 2017 Health Means Business National Summit. By showcasing the important role businesses play in community wellness, as well as groups that are “doing it right,” the business community will be encouraged to play a greater role in addressing the health challenges facing communities nationwide.

- The highest scoring partnerships in each category will be honored at the Healthy10 Awards Celebration on Thursday, February 17, 2017.

Eligibility Criteria
- To be considered for judging, at least one organization in the partnership must represent the business community (i.e. small- and medium-sized business, corporations, trade associations, or chamber of commerce). Nominated programs must also be created and managed from within the nominated organization.
- To win an award, the application must convey how the partnership or business utilizes the expertise, resources, and network of the business community to advance public health and community wellness through creating the necessary conditions to empower individuals so that they may advocate for better health and greater economic opportunities.
- Any entity, government agencies and non-profit organisations may nominate itself or be nominated by a third party.
