Women’s Center for Creative Work has announced Covid-19 Emergency Health Grant for Artists.
Categories
At this time they are making grants to artists who, in addition to qualifying under the general eligibility categories, are one of the following:
- Currently sick or have been sick with COVID-19
- are disabled and/or chronically ill
- are immunocompromised
- have a pre-existing condition that makes them more vulnerable or less able to access resources right now
- are undocumented
- are a primary caregiver
- are experiencing food or housing insecurity and whose condition is being aggravated by the current crisis.
Funding Information
- They are currently making grants of up to $1,000 to support the most vulnerable in their community, those hit the hardest by the health and financial ramifications of COVID-19.
Eligibility Criteria
- Low-income artists who work in any genre or medium, who identify as a woman, as trans or nonbinary, and/or as a person of color, who live in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside or San Bernardino Counties are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must be over 21 years old.
