The Carclew is pleased to announce a call for proposals for the Project & Development Grants to individuals and organisations.
Individual early career artists aged 26 years or under, for arts projects with a tangible outcome and/or skills and career development.
Organisations for projects that are developed and presented for, by and with children and young people aged 26 years and under.
Funding Information
- Individuals can apply for up to $10,000.
- Organisations can apply for up to $20,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Individuals: Project & Development grants support creative projects that encourage, develop and promote the artistic practice of people aged 26 and under. Applicants may also seek up to $3,000 for professional development (e.g. skills development and career building). This can be a stand-alone application or incorporated into the overall project budget. Examples include:
- Creative development of new and/or existing work
- Presentation of new and/or existing work
- Activities that enable children and/or young people to participate in art making
- Professional development for career building activity eg. participation in workshops, mentorships, internships, residencies etc
- Organisations: Carclew offers grants to organisations that are not for profit, incorporated bodies based in South Australia, and are not currently in receipt of annual funding from Carclew or DPC-Arts South Australia.
- Children and/or young people (26 years and under) are the target audience or primary project beneficiaries
- The project supports the creative skills development of children and/or young people
- The project provides a professional entry point for early career artists aged 26 years and under through employment and/or structured mentoring
- Equity and access are primary considerations in project concept development, planning and delivery
