We Love Lichfield Community Fund: UK

Applications are invited for The Community Foundation for Staffordshire’s We Love Lichfield Community Fund. It is an endowment fund, and provides funding to community and voluntary organisations across the whole Lichfield district, including in Burntwood and the surrounding villages.

The We Love Lichfield Fund meets the UN’s first, third & tenth SDG. This includes: No Poverty, Good Health and Well-being & Reduced Inequalities. The fund is dedicated to supporting communities across the district of Lichfield.

They will support organisations based in, or working for the benefit of people in the local authority areas of Lichfield, (this includes the city of Lichfield, Burntwood and the surrounding villages).

Project Aims

Your project must meet one of the following criteria;

Provide a service for the local area, or for local residents
Improve the lives of local people
Be providing a service or facility that would otherwise not be available
In addition, for the May round of funding you should also ensure your project impacts on one of the following strategic priorities;
- Vibrant and prosperous economy
- Healthy and safe communities
- Clean, green, welcoming places to live

Funding Information

You can apply for a grant of up to £1,000.

Eligibility Criteria

They will support the following types of organisation;
- Constituted community groups
- Constituted voluntary groups
- Registered Charities
- Social Enterprises
This fund will not offer funding to the following organisations;
- Non-constituted community groups
- Non-constituted voluntary groups
- Statutory agencies
- Organisations that have been established less than 12 months
- Organisations whose annual income is more than £1m per annum
- Organisations that do not have a proven track record of service delivery
- Limited companies, sole traders or partnerships without charitable aims
