Applications are now open for the Didymus Grant to help and encourage smaller charities who are working in the areas of social inclusion, education, the arts, equality and diversity and religious understanding.
Their aim in all cases is to provide appropriate resources to these charities so that the people they are supporting may flourish.
They are particularly committed to supporting those who are have been disadvantaged for whatever reason, and they do this through funding initiatives which build hope and enrichment of life.
Goals
Didymus has five goals:
- To encourage social inclusion
- To advance education
- To develop the arts
- To advance equality and diversity by creating opportunities for women
- To promote religious understanding.
Funding Information
Didymus makes grants of up to £5000. There is no minimum grant, but the application process will ask if there is adequate alternate funding in place.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to apply for a grant from Didymus, you must be:
- A UK registered charity
- Applying for work based in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Africa or Central and South America
- Applying for work that fulfils ones of their five goals
- Applying for £5,000 or less
- Have an annual income of between £20,000 and £1,000,000
- Have lodged two sets of accounts with the Charity Commission
