Applications are now open for the Net Zero Accelerator (NZA) annual 7-month program to guide, pilot, and promote technologies that help make zero-carbon, zero energy, zero water, and zero waste buildings a reality for the region.
Focus Areas
- Waste (reduction, recycling, upcycling…)
- Water (conservation, treatment, capture, monitoring, reuse…)
- Energy (efficiency, generation, storage…)
- Carbon (sequestration, reduction, reuse/integration, drawdown….)
- Related (such as infrastructure, landscaping, indoor air quality, clean construction, and more…)

And it’s not your typical accelerator. With the “NZA” They aim to rapidly drive measurable adoption of net zero solutions by:
- Building awareness of economically viable innovations
- Bridging the gap between policy and technology for both the commercial and affordable housing sectors
- And getting tech to market through onsite pilots with committed green building leaders

- Green building experts counsel and coach the pilot-ready companies on strategy, fit and viability. Cohort members receive low-cost, focused acceleration to streamline and de-risk adoption with a curriculum that is customized to their needs and best leverages the expertise of 30+ Advisors.

Technology Focus Areas
- All early-stage companies with building technologies that support a net positive future are welcome to apply.
- Relevant sectors include: PropTech, BuildingTech, UrbanTech, and even AgTech.
- While not limited to these alone, they of course focused chiefly on solutions that will move a person, building, community, an entire city, even the big green world toward net-zero carbon, energy, water, and waste … and beyond, as ultimately they aiming for net positive across the board.
