The QBE European Operations is inviting applications from eligible charities working to address Climate resilience and Inclusion to apply directly to them to be considered for a grant of up £25,000.
The Foundation is creating strong, resilient and inclusive communities, focusing investment and efforts on two key areas, where they believe they can have the greatest impact – Climate resilience and Inclusion.
Categories
- There are two categories within their grants programme:
- Climate resilience: Through this category, they aim to provide support and mitigate options for communities to become more resilient and prepared for climate impacts. Initiatives can be working to address environmental regeneration (air, land, water), climate change and disaster preparedness, resilience and recovery or innovation solutions towards a low carbon economy.
- Inclusion: Through this category, they aim to empower marginalised groups in society to help themselves long term. They’re looking to support programmes specifically, that help with empowerment through training and mentoring, provide tools/services to increase access to finance or, thought leadership (e.g., research, videos, articles, social media campaign) that can help to raise awareness or advocate for greater equality for marginalised groups.
