Are you between the ages of 20 – 35, have some experience in agribusiness, and want to expand your network among fellow young leaders in Southeast Asia? Then consider applying for the YSEALI 2023 Advancing Agribusiness Digital Marketing Regional Workshop.
The five-day YSEALI Advancing Agribusiness Digital Marketing Regional Workshop will be conducted in Dili, Timor-Leste on February 27 – March 3, 2023 and empower young leaders to use technology to dive agribusiness growth in Southeast Asia. The workshop will enable participants to develop digital marketing strategies, engage in a pitch competition, learn more from local sustainable agribusinesses, and experience cultural exchange.
To empower young leaders to use technology to drive agribusiness in the region, the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) will convene a five-day Advancing Agribusiness Digital Marketing Regional Workshop in Dili, Timor-Leste on February 27 – March 3, 2023. The workshop will include:
- A series of presentations and workshops to equip participants with skills to develop digital marketing strategies to expand agribusiness, including: global and ASEAN food security, sustainable agri-tech and digital businesses, and agribusiness beyond the pandemic.
- Development of digital marketing strategies and a presentation competition to select a winning team based on knowledge learned.
- A site visit to local sustainable agribusiness to see what it takes to implement strategies at scale and in practice.
- Cultural exchange and bonding experiences between all participants to enable future collaboration.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a YSEALI member and meet the YSEALI membership criteria (20-35 years old). If you are not yet a member, kindly register.
- Be a citizen and resident of one of the eleven YSEALI nations: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Burma, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor Leste, and Vietnam.
- Open to all applicants regardless of their race, color, religion, socioeconomic status, disability, sexual orientation, and gender identity.
- Be an emerging leader with relevant experience in agribusiness development, entrepreneurship, and other related areas.
- Statement of interest on how the program will benefit the applicants’ professional work and commitment to agribusiness.
- Ability to communicate in English (speaking in public, making presentations, and writing);
- Are interested and able to travel to Timor-Leste to attend the workshop during the dates specified
- Priority will be considered for those who have not attended a YSEALI regional workshop or fellowship.
