Deadline: 12-Nov-2025
The World Food Programme (WFP) has announced a call for expressions of interest for the 2026 SANAD Emergency Crises Response Safety Nets Project in the River Nile region of Sudan.
The focus areas of this opportunity include Food Security and Cash Assistance.
The project seeks to ensure that all targeted beneficiaries safely receive full cash-based transfers for 12 months while also strengthening resilience and local systems for sustained safety nets. This initiative is designed to provide direct support to vulnerable communities affected by ongoing crises, helping them meet essential needs and build long-term stability.
By improving access to food and financial resources, the project aims to create a more sustainable foundation for recovery and resilience in the River Nile region. The WFP’s engagement underscores its commitment to safeguarding livelihoods and fostering local systems that can support communities beyond emergency interventions.
