Deadline: 31 December 2025
The Kazickas Family Foundation provides general operating and project support to the areas that have significance to the family and its members.
Entities working within Lithuania or from the Lithuanian diaspora in the United States are welcome to submit proposals designed to deliver long-term social impact across key priority areas including social welfare, youth empowerment and education, diaspora engagement, crisis response and initiatives in arts and culture, medicine and human rights.
The Foundation supports both general operating funding and project-based grants, allowing organisations the flexibility to propose how they wish to use the support in alignment with the values of the Kazickas family. Depending on the specific organisation’s needs and the size of the project or initiative, applications for support can be submitted for up to 5,000 euros, between 5,000 and 10,000 euros, or more than 10,000 euros. Successful applicants will be selected through a competitive process and only those approved will be notified of an award. Organisations that have been funded before must have submitted an end-of-grant report before additional applications can be made.
Organisations holding 501(c)(3) charitable status are eligible to apply, while individual applicants are not considered under the general grant programme.
For organisations planning to apply, the process begins by completing an online form. First-time applicants are directed to a short application form, while returning applicants typically submit a Letter of Inquiry. The Foundation welcomes new applicants and does not penalise organisations simply because a prior application was declined; feedback can be requested to improve future submissions.
This opportunity offers nonprofits a chance to secure flexible funding aligned with deeper societal goals and values. For groups working in Lithuania or supporting Lithuanian communities abroad, it represents a meaningful avenue to advance programmes in youth, culture, humanitarian response or education, backed by a philanthropic foundation with a long legacy of giving and engagement.
