Deadline: 17-November-2025
The ACF Boost is a matched funding program designed to enable independent artists and small groups or arts organisations using the ACF to leverage private sector support through a matched funding boost.
This initiative provides dollar-for-dollar matched funding of up to $5,000 for participants who run a fundraising campaign on the ACF platform between 2 February and 30 April 2026. It is designed to help creatives strengthen their fundraising capacity, attract new donors, and bring artistic projects to life with added financial support.
To take part in ACF Boost, applicants must meet the ACF’s registration criteria. They need to be engaged in the promotion and presentation of arts and cultural activities, and their funded projects must take place within Australia or deliver benefits to Australian audiences. Applicants must also have an ABN or a formal agreement with an auspicing body that can receive funds on their behalf. Another key requirement is the ability to run a fundraising campaign during the designated period in early 2026.
Not everyone is eligible to apply for this round. Those with outstanding acquittals with the ACF or Creative Australia, participants of the 2025 ACF Boost program, and those involved in the 2025/26 MATCH Lab or Plus1 programs are excluded from applying. Applicants who owe money to Creative Australia are also not eligible for this opportunity.
ACF Boost 2026 aims to empower artists by matching the support they receive from the public, effectively doubling the impact of community donations. This initiative not only provides financial backing but also encourages stronger connections between artists and their supporters. It’s an opportunity for creatives to grow their audiences, expand their fundraising skills, and bring their projects to fruition with confidence and momentum.
