Deadline: 31-Jul-2025
The Department of Food and Public Distribution, in collaboration with MyGov, is organizing a selfie-taking activity as part of the Warehousing Development and Regulatory Authority (WDRA) awareness campaign.
This initiative is designed to highlight the operations of WDRA and its registered warehouses. Participants are encouraged to take selfies during warehouse-related activities such as loading or unloading, assaying processes involving e-NWR issuance, stock weighment, and ongoing preservation work.
The contest aims to increase public awareness and improve perceptions of WDRA standards through engaging visual content shared on social media.
Winners of the contest will receive cash prizes. The first prize is ₹3,000, the second prize ₹2,000, and the third prize ₹1,000.
The contest is open to all Indian citizens. Each participant is allowed to submit only one entry, and all submissions must be made through the official channel.
Selfies must depict real operations at a WDRA-registered warehouse and must be original, unedited, and not photoshopped. Copied or altered images will be disqualified.
Participants should ensure their MyGov profile is complete and accurate, including name, address, email, and phone number.
Entries will be judged on creativity, originality, composition, and relevance to the theme. Once submitted, the copyrights of all selfies will belong exclusively to WDRA and MyGov.
All entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges, and the committee’s decision will be final. Any violation of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957, will lead to disqualification.
