Nominations are now open for the International Prism Award to recognize businesses and organizations that have built strong coaching cultures and meet several rigorous standards.
The International Coaching Federation (ICF) is the leading global organization for coaches and coaching. ICF is dedicated to advancing the coaching profession by setting high standards, providing independent certification and building a worldwide network of trained coaching professionals.
Since 2005, the International Prism Award program has celebrated businesses and organizations that have built strong coaching cultures. To do so and to be considered for this award, a business or organization must:
- Fulfill rigorous professional standards
- Address key strategic goals
- Shape organizational culture
- Yield discernible and measurable positive impacts
Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible for this award, both the organization and nominating coach must meet the criteria outlined below. All nominations must be submitted online and in English.
- The organization must be nominated by an external or internal coach who holds an up-to-date ICF Credential and has delivered coaching in the organization.
- The organization must have started to implement coaching before January 1, 2020, and the process must have lasted a minimum of one year.
- Employees in the organization directly benefit from the coaching culture by receiving coaching and/or working with a manager or leader who uses coaching skills.
- The International Prism Award Program is not designed for coach-training organizations or organizations that provide external coach practitioners to organizations and/or individuals.
- During the nomination review process, the nominating coach and/or coaching sponsor is able to provide additional or clarifying information about the nomination if they are asked to do so.
- The organization, its leaders and its public relations team are willing and able to publicly share information that point to the success of the coaching initiative (e.g., annual revenue, return on investment data, employee engagement and retention data).
- To demonstrate the impact of coaching, the data shared in the nomination will be available for ICF to share in press releases, case studies, etc.
- To earn the award, the organization must not have been a 2020 ICF International Prism Award winner or honorable mention recipient.
