Deadline: 10-Jan-22
The City of Oslo is pleased to launch the Innovation Program Oslo 2022 to support projects that contribute to solving the most important business challenges in the communities.
Target areas
- Cluster and network development – strengthening knowledge transfer in and between business networks
- Entrepreneurship and growth companies – enabling and facilitating new companies with scalable business models
- Supplier development and service innovation – better methods and meeting places between public purchasers and the supplier market, from needs identification, through development and to commercialization of products and services.
- Early stage financing – improving access to venture capital for startups
- Commercialization of research results – developing better networks between academia and business, increasing number of companies created through new research.
What can you apply for funding for?
- You can apply for support for projects in different phases, both pre-studies / pre-project and main project.
- The project will focus on testing, initiation, development and innovation, within a clearly defined project period.
- You can apply for up to 50 percent of the project’s funding, up to NOK 1,000,000 per project.
50 percent of the total costs must be covered by other financing and / or own efforts. This must be clearly stated in the budget. It is desirable with projects that trigger co-financing from actors other than the project owner and regional innovation program. See percentages and articles in the block exemption that must be applied under “The EEA Agreement’s rules on public support” in the guidelines.
Note that the program does not provide direct support for investments and development of individual companies or start-ups. For this type of purpose, see Innovation Norway’s searchable schemes.
