Are you a green entrepreneur? Would you like to launch a green business and put a new green product or service on the market but don’t know where to start? Would you like to learn how to develop a green business model that creates environmental and social value? If yes, apply now to join SwitchMed Green Entrepreneurs Training Programme.

The SwitchMed is looking for green entrepreneurs, either individuals or in a group, who can start-up and develop economic projects that will create ecological and social value. It is an initiative that supports and connects stakeholders to scale-up and social eco innovations in the Mediterranean.

The mission of SwitchMed is to provide all Mediterranean stakeholders with tools and connections to supporting partners for their social and eco innovations, to achieve productive, circular and sharing economies in the Mediterranean.

Benefits

  • Through the participation in the Training Workshops (with a duration of 5 days spread within a three months period), the green entrepreneurs will obtain the knowledge and the necessary practical tools in order to turn an innovative idea into a green business model with proven feasibility.
  • Likewise, the participants will develop a green business plan that will guide them through the creation of a green business.
  • The green entrepreneurs with the best projects will be selected and will receive advice and assistance in launching their green business.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The call for applications for green entrepreneurs is currently open only for Lebanon.
  • Propose an innovative green business concept to be developed, which is economically viable and which will have a positive impact at an ecological and social level.
  • Qualification level: A professional diploma or university degree will be an asset.
  • Previous experience in a relevant field relating to the proposed project specifics is desirable.
