It will also be awarding a semi-funded fellowship and several online fellowships to improve your writing skills.

The “1.5ºC Survive and Thrive” campaign aims to raise awareness around the world about the importance of keeping global temperature below this threshold and the multiple benefits that this would bring.

1.5ºC is the temperature increase we must stay below if we want to save our planet. This is critical for many nations around the world to protect glaciers, reefs, avoid sea level rise or extreme heat. This is why Climate Tracker is starting a campaign to support ambitious and consistent climate action in line with the 1.5 goal.

The best writers will get a chance to attend COP23 Bonn in November 2017 with the Climate Tracker team. There applicants will receive training on climate and journalism, get to attend the international climate negotiations and meet amazing people from everywhere in the world!
