The Earth Skills Network, in partnership with UNESCO World Heritage Centre, the international environmental charity Earthwatch, and the global energy company Royal Dutch Shell is seeking applications for the business skills training programme for protected areas in Africa.
The Earth Skills Network (ESN) provides funded training in:
- business planning and effective management practices and,
- personal development of leadership capabilities, with
- 12 months of mentoring from an ESN corporate member with significant business experience.
Eligibility Criteria
- The programme is open to all permanent staff from protected areas, World Heritage sites, protected area agencies and management authorities in Africa.
- For each selected site, three staff from the site must be available to participate in the full programme.
- Selected participants must be fluent in English.
