Nominations Open for UN Global Compact’s SDG Pioneers!

Nominations are open for The United Nations Global Compact’s “Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Pioneers” programme. The programme seeks the submission of stories by business leaders who are doing an exceptional job of taking action to advance the Global Goals.

The SDG Pioneers will be announced and celebrated at the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit on 21 September 2017 in New York. They will receive visibility and recognition throughout the year for their efforts and achievements in advancing the SDGs.

SDG Pioneers are individuals working at any level in a company who are doing an exceptional job of taking action on sustainable development issues through their own company or by mobilizing other businesses to do so. They are helping to reach one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while also contributing to business success.

Eligibility Criteria

• Individuals who are working at any level of a UN Global Compact signatory company are eligible to apply or to be nominated.
• The UN Global Compact selected ten SDG Pioneers from diverse regions of the world who were showcasing how business can be a force for good.
