Deadline: 16-Nov-2025
The Direct Aid Program (DAP) offered by the Australian High Commission in Pakistan represents a meaningful funding opportunity for not-for-profit community groups, NGOs and other registered entities in Pakistan committed to development goals.
Projects supported by DAP must be carried out on a non-profit basis and are eligible for funding up to AUD 60,000, with a preference for applications in the AUD 40,000 or less range.
Applicants are encouraged to contribute at least 25 % of total project costs, and projects may run for up to two years. Priority is given to themes such as gender equality, sexual and reproductive health, climate change, women in sport, mental health and youth capacity development. Eligible applicants include community groups, NGOs, educational institutions and local governments, provided they are registered.
Eligible activities include those that lead to practical, tangible outcomes with high development impact, such as educational or vocational training, community resilience initiatives and people-to-people exchanges. Projects that propose micro-credit schemes, large asset purchases, routine administrative costs, major travel or conferences without clear development benefit will not be prioritised.
This is a valuable opportunity for organisations in Pakistan to access external funding for meaningful community-oriented initiatives, develop partnerships, and drive sustainable local impact.
