Deadline: 10-Aug-2025
The Starbeck Community Fund One offers small grants to individuals and community groups for one-off items that help create or improve recreational or community facilities. The Individual Grant under this fund provides up to £400 annually for eligible individuals.
Applicants must be 25 years old or younger before the grant window closes and must live within the Starbeck Community Fund area. The grant supports projects, schemes, or courses that promote educational, sporting, or cultural advancement of the individual.
Applications must show the project’s impact by Thursday 1 October 2026. Each application is scored based on the fund’s criteria and supporting evidence. These scores guide the panel’s discussion and final funding recommendations. If total requests exceed available funds, scores help determine which applications receive priority.
Certain costs are not eligible for funding. These include expenses for completed projects, inaccessible facilities, venue hire, regular project running costs, salaries, rent, statutory training, professional or insurance fees, gifts, prize money, religious or political activities, sponsorships, and work tied to statutory services like schools or government.
Work or activities that have already taken place are also not eligible for funding.
