Call for Applications: Naturesave Trust Grant Program (UK)

Apply for Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program 2025 (North Macedonia)

Deadline: 27-Nov-2025

The Naturesave is inviting applications from charities, community groups, and organisations for boosting biodiversity.

This effort aims to restore nature, create healthier environments for people, and build resilience against climate change. Protecting biodiversity ensures clean air and water, fertile soils, and thriving ecosystems that sustain all life.

This funding opportunity invites applications from charities, community groups, and organisations that are actively enhancing biodiversity through practical, community-based projects. Eligible initiatives may include pollinator-friendly planting, habitat restoration, hedgerow and wildlife garden management, the use of alternatives to pesticides, and the promotion of conservation volunteering. Educational programs, local policy advocacy, citizen science, and wildlife monitoring projects are also welcomed.

Grants of up to £5,000 are available to support projects that contribute meaningfully to the UK’s biodiversity goals. Eligible applicants include organisations, charities, voluntary groups, and businesses, though individuals are not eligible. Projects must be based entirely within the UK and align with the Trust’s broader aim of promoting sustainable development.

Applications should clearly and concisely describe the project’s objectives, activities, and expected outcomes. Strong proposals are well-structured, relevant, and provide sufficient detail to demonstrate impact and feasibility. Applicants must also have an active website or social media presence to showcase their work and engage the community.

Funding decisions are made based on project merit and alignment with the Trust’s sustainability objectives. Once awarded, grants are subject to specified criteria, and funds will be released upon meeting these conditions. Offers of funding remain valid for six months from the date of the offer letter, ensuring that projects are ready to commence and deliver positive environmental outcomes promptly.
