UNDP under the “Enabling an Inclusive Green Transition in the Republic of Moldova” project invites companies or NGOs to develop and carry out two editions of a Green Pre-Acceleration Program for early-stage founders and aspiring entrepreneurs.
The focus areas, objectives, priorities, and themes of the Green Pre-Acceleration Program include green innovation, climate action, circular economy, sustainability, resource efficiency, waste management, green and sustainable mobility, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) frameworks, green financing, sustainable business model development, capacity-building on green transition, gender equality and women’s empowerment, youth integration in entrepreneurial activities, and building a climate-resilient, low-emissions, and environmentally sustainable economy.
The initiative aims to empower at least 50 entrepreneurs and students through two three-month pre-acceleration program editions, scheduled for autumn 2025 and spring 2026. The second edition will be delivered in a hybrid format via the new Green Tech Hub at the Technical University of Moldova, or an equivalent venue if needed. Selected service providers must design and implement the program curriculum, develop outreach campaigns for participant and mentor recruitment, ensure gender balance and inclusivity, and deliver hands-on activities including workshops, trainings, bootcamps, mentorship, and pitching events. Program delivery includes arranging suitable venues, logistics, catering, technical equipment, and monitoring tools to assess learning outcomes and impact. Key responsibilities also involve documentation, reporting, and maintaining the confidentiality of all proprietary data and educational materials developed for UNDP.
Both editions will focus on ideation, validation, user-centered design, and collaborative peer learning, targeting solution development for priority areas such as waste management, climate resilience, energy efficiency, and sustainable business models. Special attention is given to gender balance, regional inclusion, and equitable access for underrepresented groups throughout the program structure and selection processes.
