Deadline: 11-Jan-2026
Applications are now open for the Teach For Pakistan Fellowship Program, a full-time opportunity for university graduates and young professionals from diverse fields to teach in under-resourced schools and develop their own leadership capabilities.
Teach For Pakistan will try to place candidates in their preferred region, though spots are limited, and some may be offered placement in another city. Fellows undergo a six-week pre-placement training focused on teaching, leadership, and community engagement, followed by continuous support through lesson observations, coaching, monthly training sessions, expert mentoring, and global networking opportunities through Teach For All.
The Fellowship provides an opportunity to develop leadership and professional skills such as management, communication, planning, data analysis, organizing, self-motivation, and collaboration with people across diverse backgrounds.
These skills are highly transferable to other fields, including policy, business, management, and journalism, making this experience compatible with a broad range of personal and professional goals. Graduate schools, employers, and scholarship programs worldwide recognize and value the Teach For brand. Throughout the two years, Fellows will also benefit from networking and mentoring opportunities for career development.
The Fellowship is a full-time, paid opportunity. Current Fellows receive a base salary of Rs. 80,000 per month with an additional Rs. 4,000 stationery allowance and a transport allowance ranging from Rs. 8,500–10,500 per month. Out-station Fellows receive an additional Rs. 10,000 monthly and those who complete their two-year commitment will receive an end-of-Fellowship bonus.
For the 2026 Fellowship, Teach For Pakistan will offer placements in Islamabad and Karachi. Applicants relocating exclusively for the Fellowship may qualify for ‘Outstation’ status if their permanent residence is over 70 km from Islamabad or outside Karachi’s seven districts—East, West, South, Central, Malir, Korangi, and Keamari.
Candidates with any number of years of experience are welcome to apply. Teach For Pakistan encourages individuals from all academic and professional backgrounds to apply. Applicants must have a minimum of 16 years of education completed by June 2025, with at least a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
They must hold Pakistani citizenship or a valid National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) or Pakistan Origin Card (POC), be fluent in Urdu and English, successfully complete the pre-placement Training Institute in July and August 2025, and commit to two years of Fellowship placement in Islamabad or Karachi.
Students currently enrolled in international universities are encouraged to apply, provided they meet the citizenship or valid identification requirements. Candidates can apply only once per recruitment year.
Evaluation will be based on Bachelor’s degree and work experience, so applicants must include all educational qualifications, internships, and professional experience in their applications.
If a candidate is unable to clear all stages of selection in the first deadline, they may reapply for the 2027 Cohort, but any repeat applications in the same year will be automatically disqualified.
The application deadline is 11 January 2026.
