Deadline: 30-April-2026
This opportunity is open to artists and cultural professionals who are legal residents of the 40 Creative Europe countries, at least 18 years old, and active in one of the participating sectors.
Eligible sectors include architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, literature, music, performing arts, and visual arts. Applications can be made individually or in groups of up to five people, and applicants must have a project idea to implement with a partner based in another Creative Europe country.
Those who have previously received a Culture Moves Europe grant under the Individual Mobility Action or serve as evaluators in the programme are not eligible to apply. Individuals can travel between 7 and 40 days, while groups can travel between 7 and 14 days.
The grant provides financial support for travel and subsistence costs, along with additional top-ups based on the nature of the project and the applicant’s personal situation. Projects related to formal education or travel to present previously created work at concerts, exhibitions, or similar events are not supported.
Funding is awarded based on several criteria: the applicant’s goals and the relevance of the mobility, the quality and planning of the project (including collaboration with the international partner and project duration), the anticipated long-term positive impacts, and the inclusion of sustainability aspects such as eco-friendly transportation and material use.
The budget comprises two parts: a Mobility Grant and optional top-ups. The Mobility Grant covers a daily allowance of €75 per day (or €35 for virtual projects) and a travel allowance of €350 for distances under 5,000 km or €700 for longer distances.
Top-ups include €350 for green mobility, €150 for applicants from or traveling to Outermost Regions or Overseas Countries and Territories, €80 for visa expenses, €100 for applicants with children under ten, and additional accessibility support for applicants with disabilities.
Applicants must submit several required documents, including a valid national ID, proof of legal residence, a short CV in English, an artistic and creative portfolio in English, and a signed letter of collaboration from the international partner confirming project details and duration. For group applications, the portfolio must represent the collective work or that of each member involved.
The rolling call for the Individual Mobility Action is open until 30 April 2026, with monthly deadlines on the last day of each month.
