Deadline: 05-Dec-2025
The Perpetual is offering an opportunity for eligible organisations to apply for funding through its trusts and endowments program.
Perpetual supports high-quality, sustainable impact by identifying organisations that demonstrate strong governance, capable leadership, strategic clarity, and a clear focus on measurable outcomes. The funding is provided as a single-year, one-off grant, allowing organisations to support specific projects or initiatives within a defined period. This approach gives applicants the flexibility to focus on achieving meaningful outcomes within a set timeframe.
Grants generally range from $10,000 to $100,000, with the average amount awarded in recent years being around $80,000. Organisations may apply for up to $120,000 per application, which is the maximum allowable request. Any application seeking an amount higher than this limit will be automatically marked ineligible, so applicants are encouraged to carefully plan and justify their funding needs within the approved range.
To be considered for this opportunity, an organisation must either be a registered charity on the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission register or hold Australian Taxation Office Deductible Gift Recipient endorsement. Meeting one of these conditions is essential to qualify for funding, ensuring that grants are directed to organisations operating for charitable purposes and meeting compliance standards.
Applications will not be accepted from organisations that are under administration, not a going concern, or have compliance actions against them. In addition, the bank account details provided must match the organisation’s legal name, and no funding will be granted if the account belongs to an individual. For medical research projects, confirmation of ethics committee approval must be submitted by 1 March 2026 to remain eligible for consideration.
This funding opportunity provides significant support to not-for-profit and charitable organisations seeking to deliver projects that make a positive impact. With clear guidelines and a focus on transparency, Perpetual’s grants continue to play a vital role in strengthening community initiatives and promoting sustainable outcomes across Australia.
