Deadline: 06-Oct-2025
The Czech Republic’s Embassy in Abuja has launched a call for proposals for small-scale local development projects scheduled for 2026.
This opportunity is aimed at non-governmental, non-political organisations with legal status, especially those already involved in development work. Projects should focus on improving living standards in areas such as education, health, and access to essential resources, and should be designed to be sustainable locally.
Grants offered range from 200,000 to 500,000 Czech Koruna, depending on the project’s scope and needs. The application must include a budget using the current exchange rates as provided by the Embassy, demonstrating transparent and realistic financial planning.
Organisations that apply should have previous experience in delivering development activities and be able to ensure that proposed initiatives can be maintained beyond the funding period. The purpose is to promote lasting impact rather than temporary fixes, enabling local communities to benefit long term.
For groups working on grassroots initiatives in education, health, or basic living infrastructure, this grant offers a timely pathway to mobilise resources, strengthen capacities, and contribute meaningfully to sustainable community development in regions under the Embassy’s accreditation.
