Agorize is pleased to announce the Huawei Tech4City Competition.
In this inaugural competition, Huawei aims to empower our youths to propose creative and innovative solutions using digital technology to build a sustainable and liveable Singapore of tomorrow. Participants do not need to have prior tech background or city planning experience – they welcome groundbreaking ideas from all walks of life.

- Nature
- Both digitalisation and sustainability have become major driving forces for future societal development. ICT plays a significant role in enabling the energy as well as other industries to reduce carbon emission. How can they harness technology and contribute to a greener future for Singapore?
- Possible angles include (but are not limited to):
- Energy saving and emission reduction
- Protection of biodiversity
- Marine and forest ecology protection
- Culture
- Singapore is a multiracial, multicultural, and multi-religious city. How can they use technology to integrate uniquely Singapore cultural elements, bringing historical sites and folk traditions to life, promoting their vibrant city to the rest of the world?
- Possible angles include (but are not limited to):
- Promote local tourism
- Protection and restoration of historical monuments
- Inheritance and innovation of customs and folk art
- Promote food culture
- Promote racial harmony
- Neighbour
- Keeping the kampong spirit alive to build an inclusive community. Leaving no-one behind in the digital era is their belief. How can they leverage technology to connect different groups of people and make life more convenient and inclusive?
- Possible angles include (but are not limited to):
- Empowering people with disabilities
- Care for the elderly
- Protection of adolescents
- Disease prevention and rehabilitation

- Cash reward of SGD 10,000 to the Grand Winner
- Cash reward of SGD 5,000 to the second-placing team
- Cash reward of SGD 3,000 to the third-placing team
- Cash reward of SGD 1,000 to the 4th to 10th-placing teams

- Acknowledge-ment of idea: Your winning idea will be acknowledged if it is selected and implemented
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this competition, you are an individual who are:
- Between 18 and 35 years old (both inclusive) as at the date of registration for the Challenge
- Able to attend in person the activities and events relating to the Challenge that are physically held in Singapore
- Each eligible individual can only participate in the Challenge as part of one (1) team submitting one (1) entry only.
