Morgan Stanley Inclusive & Sustainable Ventures (MSISV) provides early-stage innovators with access to capital and resources to help them develop and scale. MSISV includes two in-house accelerator programs – a Lab designed for startup founders and a Collaborative to support emerging nonprofits. Their mission is to foster a more equitable and sustainable investment landscape.
Accelerator Programs
- Morgan Stanley Inclusive & Sustainable Ventures Lab (MSISVL):
- The Morgan Stanley Inclusive & Sustainable Ventures Lab (MSISVL) is an in-house accelerator that provides early-stage innovators who may have experienced systemic barriers to accessing capital and/or have a focus on sustainability with access to capital and resources to scale innovative solutions globally. Morgan Stanley will provide participating Lab companies with a cash contribution, a five-month curated program, mentorship, networking, office space for the duration of the program, and access to certain external advisors in exchange for an equity stake of 5.00%. The cash contribution is $250,000 to each company participating in their New York-based program and £250,000 to each company participating in their London-based program.

- The Morgan Stanley Inclusive & Sustainable Ventures Collaborative (MSISVC) is an in-house accelerator that provides emerging nonprofits that may have experienced systemic barriers to accessing funding and/or have a focus on sustainability with access to capital and resources to scale innovative solutions globally.
Funding Information
- Morgan Stanley will provide participating Lab companies with an equity investment, a five-month curated program, mentorship, networking, office space for the duration of the program and access to certain external advisors. The equity investment is $250,000 for each company participating in their New York-based program and £250,000 for each company participating in their London-based program. Each participating Collaborative nonprofit will receive a $250,000 grant if based in the Americas, £250,000 for all other regions and access to the same program content as the Lab.
Eligibility Criteria

- Ideal startups will include:
- Companies with founders who may have experienced systemic barriers to accessing capital and/or have a focus on sustainability
- Companies that are technology or technology-enabled and fall within the Seed to Series A funding round stage
- Companies that have launched a product into the market with demonstrated revenues

- Ideal organizations will include:
- Nonprofits with a clear and demonstrated business plan
- Nonprofits that may have experienced systemic barriers to accessing funding and/or have a focus on sustainability
- Nonprofits that are focused on advancing a high-impact scalable solution
